Skepta Speaking on his music experiences @Skepta

In this YouTube video, Boy Better Know artist Skepta lets everyone know what is on his mind and gives some motivational to those who feel they are underrated and their message isn’t being seen in the right way. This video is good for Skepta as many of his fans and outside people get to see the deeper side and from this you feel the passion and brains behind the man, they call Skepta.

#UnderdogPsychosis is a new series Skepta plans to embark on via YouTube etc, but the first video is inspiring enough, none the less the ratings have gone up for Skepta and we at The Est Living feel the message Skepta was aiming to get across.

Showerz: Artist Catch Up @Showerz

The Est Living spoke to rising young London recording artist Showerz, to see what material he has been working and to discuss future plans.

After releasing two well recieved mixtapes (The Method To The Madness & The Sunday Christmas Special), Showerz tells us he is currently working on his brand new EP/Pre-Album :’Young And Restless’.

Here is what Showerz had to say:

Young And Restless features production from up and coming Canadian producer J. Will, Pepstar, Paperchase, Dego Brown, Reckless Beats, JR, MJD & JP Styla. The wide range of production really gives the project a well varied range of sounds.”

“Young & Restless” will stem a few single releases, the first of which will be the song ‘Winner’ which is currently being prepared for release.”

The track which is produced by Beats and Bars specialist Pepstar draws influences from a wide range of sounds and rhythm crossed with Showerz way with words which has earned him his reputation, ‘Winner’ acts as a perfect introduction into the world of Showerz.

While “Winner” can be expected over the next few weeks, “Young & Resltess” will more than likely be a summer release. Dates are yet to be confirmed.”

Pepstar: Russian Roulette 4 Mini Review @Pepstaruk

Pepstar is a UK artist who we feel at The Est Living deserves more attention than he is currently getting, Pepstar brings all the qualities with his music, as he is a producer himself and a rapper and can play instruments to give himself that advantage and different producer quality to his music.

Pepstar has been creating a little Youtube series from 2010, Entiled Russian Roulette, which steamed of the Rhianna tune which was a hit at the time and since then Pepstar has gone on to create a mini story and top class songs and visuals which follow the same style.

Pepstar has released the 4th and final instalment to the Russian Roulette, the story and Pepstar’s creativity throughout each instalment shows how different of a artist he is and what path and story he is bringing to the table.

Here is The Video for Russian Roulette 4 by Pepstar:

The other videos in the series are available on Youtube, we at The Est Living reckon Pepstar will put the whole series together as a DVD or try to get it plugged on the Television.

L Marshall: The Wait Mix tape Mini review @LMarshallMusic

L Marshall who came on to the scene in the later parts of 2011 with his powerful singing abilities on Wretch 32 “Traktor” which was a big hit last year, which raised awareness and created a profile for the emerging artist.

Secretly behind the scenes L Marshall used his song writing skills to great use and managed to rack up a No 2 Hit with the Loick Essien smash of a tune “How We Roll” which was a great song which done wonders for Loick Essien also. This leads the position and space for L Marshall to release his own body of work and really show everyone why Wretch 32 believed in him enough to have his skills on his top single “Traktor”

“The Wait Mixtape” by L Marshall was released at the end of December in 2011, and some people slept on the project and others took notice, in this case it seems the power of word of mouth has finally worked and listening to the CD is a fresh breath of air. The 24 yr old London singer who has abilities to rap also is most defiantly an artist who could go the distance in the industry.

L Marshall delivers the real and raw side to urban singing which hasn’t really been on show in this country before, which will be a good asset to progress L Marshall in the industry.

Tracks To Check from the “The Wait Mixtape”

“My Ex”:
This song is a real emotional/deep from L Marshall. The message is about a ex partner and shows how L Marshall dealt with the situation, great emotion shown here and a strong stand out from the project.

“The Wait”+ Offical Video:
This is the anthem from L Marshall, all of his skills are a artist and its clear that he has a message to hopefully be received by the music industry, L Marshall delivers the attitude of a rapper but surprises everyone with his vocal range.

Official video link:

The final song from this project, that stands out when playing the CD threw all together:
“Purple Skies”:

Purple Skies is another touching deep song where L Marshall touches on his experience in the industry and how changes are happening, but still some other things still feel the same, this tune shows a reggae influence and its nice to see L Marshall expirement and branch out with his music to hopefully widen his audiences.

Which is what the Project the “Wait Mixtape” has done; following the success and feedback in the industry that was received L Marshall is set to release the “Wait E.P.” in the month of April, specifically April the 1st, which features collaborations with UK recording artist’s Sincere, Sneakbo & Cashtastic.

Here is the Link to buy the “Wait E.P”:

Bruts: Never Been Part 2 @Brutsmusic

Presenting Bruts who is a East London recording artist who has had previous background in the UK Grime Scene and is now step by step creating his own lane in the UK Rap scene.

We at The Est Living feel Bruts is underated, and we support Bruts because its clear to see how gifted on the microphone this East London Artist is as over the years Bruts has shown his hunger and style in his music whether he showed that in a grime song or a rap song.

Bruts is defiantly one to watch and keep your eye on
